As part of the "Lebendige Zentren in Hessen" urban development programme, the town of Bad Vilbel offers funding for the renovation and greening of facades and roofs as well as for creative ideas for a vibrant town centre.
Repair and greening of facades and roofs
Property owners in the core area of Bad Vilbel's city centre can now not only renovate their façades, but also receive generous financial support for green roofs and facades. The activities are supported as follows:
- Up to 25% of eligible costs
- Maximum of € 19,999.99 for facade renovation and design
- Maximum of € 4,000 for facade greening
- Maximum of € 4,000 for extensive green roofs
- Maximum of € 8,000 for solar green roofs

The disposal fund supports projects in the city centre that create sustainable added value - such as bookcases or flower tubs.

- Annual budget: € 30,000
- Maximum funding per project: € 5,000
- Cost breakdown: 50 % funding from city and state, 50 % own invest
A local committee consisting of representatives from different groups in the city centre decides on the applications. The selection is based on the objectives of the "Integrated Urban Development Concept". Submit your ideas and beautify the city centre!
